From Service to Carpentry
After graduating from Middleton High School, Logan served in the US Air Force. There he learned early lessons about leadership and the value of hard work. He went on to spend five years in Public Works, where he gained a broad understanding of infrastructure and of serving the community. He is a graduate of Madison College’s Construction and Remodeling program.
Logan moved into carpentry because he is curious and wanted hands-on work. “I have worked many odd jobs in my life,” he says. “I have often been told to slow down or hurry up and wait. At TDS, hard work and curiosity are essential. Working with like-minded people has been a refreshing change of pace.”
How Logan Works
Logan was drawn to TDS by its strong reputation among carpenters. Since joining, he has found a team that works hard, stays curious, and supports one another.
His colleagues count on Logan’s punctuality and his willingness to help the team any way he can. “I want to get things done and get one step closer to completing a project,” he says. He takes pride in his flexibility and is ready to take on whatever the project needs. Carpentry suits him because he can see the results of his work at the end of each day.

Logan Hormig joined the TDS Design Build team in June 2024, bringing a unique blend of military discipline, public service experience, and a passion for carpentry. A graduate of Madison College’s Construction and Remodeling program, Logan’s journey to TDS is marked by diverse experiences that have shaped his work ethic and perspective.
