That’s why we invite you to view our newest high-performance home project in Cross Plains before it’s finished. You’ll get a rare chance to explore how TDS Custom Construction’s team of architects, project managers, and craftspeople design and build homes using passive house principles that fit Dane County’s climate and landscape.
This isn’t your typical parade of homes tour — there won’t be any fancy finishes, but you will see:
- Double stud wall framing and advanced insulation and air-sealing techniques
- How we install our windows so they are easy to replace in the future
- Mechanicals heat pump and an energy recovery ventilator
- How we sited the home for passive solar heat gain
