Alt Job Title: “Useless Pop Culture Reference Aficionado”

“Turning houses into homes and clients’ dreams into reality, one project at a time.”

Michael Webster

Michael Webster brings a wealth of experience in residential design and project management. As a lifelong Madisonian, Michael’s passion for improving his community through thoughtful, enduring construction work aligns perfectly with TDS’s mission and values.

With over 20 years of experience in residential design and 9.5 years of residential remodel project management in Madison, Michael brings a depth of knowledge and expertise to his role at TDS. His professional journey is characterized by a curiosity about people and the world we live in, coupled with a creative approach to problem-solving.

What drew Michael to TDS was the company’s commitment to collaboration at every level. “TDS, as a Design-Build firm, believes that collaboration is key to the success of every project,” Michael explains. “I’m proud to be working with like-minded individuals who are just as eager as I am to turn around enduring work for our clients.”

Of TDS’s core values, Michael resonates most strongly with being “kind, respectful, & compassionate.” He shares, “That’s how my mom raised me, and there is a growing group in our country that seems to have forgotten this one.” This value shapes his interactions with clients, colleagues, and the broader community.

Michael’s colleagues appreciate his directness, curiosity, and friendly attitude. His self-assigned informal title of “Useless Pop Culture Reference Aficionado” hints at his fun-loving nature and ability to connect with others through shared cultural touchstones.

What gives Michael a sense of pride? Professionally, it’s completing projects for clients. “Our clients come to us to solve a problem that impacts their life,” he explains. “When we can do what we do best and fix that problem for them, we’re making their life better, which then impacts our community in a positive way as well.” Personally, being a father tops his list. “Raising children has been more rewarding than I ever could’ve imagined, and seeing them growing into adults gives me so much joy!”

When he’s not managing projects, Michael enjoys being in nature – hiking, camping, and exploring National and State parks. He’s a fan of live music movies (especially Star Wars and Marvel) and enjoys reading Sci-Fi and Fantasy novels. His favorite tool? The oscillating saw a versatile companion in the world of remodeling.

Michael’s commitment to fairness and equality shines through in his work and personal life. “Being respectful, kind, and compassionate is how I try to lead my life, and I’m trying to pass these qualities onto my children,” he shares.

As he embarks on his journey with TDS, Michael’s excitement is palpable. “I’d give working at TDS a ten, and I’m super excited to be here!” he enthuses. With his extensive experience, passion for community improvement, and alignment with TDS’s values, Michael is poised to impact the team and the projects they undertake significantly.
